Operating in the Bakken Shale Play, the client’s laterals had gotten exceedingly long, forcing them to switch to workovers. Originally a coil tubing company, they had issues reaching the bottom using PH-6, incurring chemical costs. Thanks to its higher torque makeup, CP Energy Services' premium threaded workstring completed the task without hiccups. The client benefitted from savings in chemical costs to the tune of two hundred fifty thousand dollars. They also reduced NPT, and halved the required number of inspections.

Building on its technological foundation, CP Energy Services continues to push boundaries with advancements like its total gas recovery resource (TGRR) technology. Gas in an oil field has always been a hassle, as emissions or flares attract fines from the EPA and ire from the residents.
