“We draw from our extensive experience in bulk liquid logistics to support legacy petroleum businesses and catalyze global decarbonization efforts,” says Carlin Conner, Chairman and CEO of IMTT. The company is currently supporting an assortment of biofuel feedstocks (including biodiesel) across multinational agriculture commodity firms, chemical producers, and petroleum refiners by leveraging its deep logistics capability, unmatched asset know-how, and strong relationships with storage and logistics traders.
As one of the largest midstream providers in the U.S., IMTT has a presence in commodity distribution, transshipment, and trading hubs. IMTT is an essential link in the supply chain for crude and refined petroleum products, vegetable and tropical oils, renewable fuels, and other bulk liquid materials. The company has set up fuel storage terminals for petroleum, biofuels, specialty chemicals, and tropical oil products.
Besides, the engineers, project managers, operations personnel, and marketing professionals efficiently respond to customer inquiries for new or expanded logistics services. The team has years of experience in conceptual and detailed design, procurement, and construction management of brown field and green field bulk liquid storage.

IMTT recently helped a client set up a renewable biodiesel production plant by working closely with the team to design and set up a new logistics pipeline, from the feedstock collection to the final biodiesel production. Even though IMTT used its existing infrastructure, the company was mindful of using an insulated pipeline to handle the fatty feedstocks and drive the efficient collection of the final biodiesel.
This is one of many success stories IMTT has crafted over the years. IMTT is keen on finding new ways to help its clients and play a critical role in the net-zero movement. With its extensive domain knowledge and bulk liquid storage and transportation competencies, IMTT aims to stay at the forefront of the changing fuel paradigm.
