Fluke Incorporates Will White to expand their portfolio and lead their solar education and training initiatives.
FREMONT, CA: "I'm thrilled to take on this new role as part of Fluke's growing solar team, especially in a time when the industry is experiencing such positive momentum," said White. "As new and veteran technicians alike are drawn to solar, it's important that they have the right combination of tools and training to be effective, confident, and safe. I'm looking forward to sharing my experience on high-quality, code-compliant installation techniques with this growing workforce."
One of the leading providers of safe, rugged, and reliable industrial tools and integrated software, Fluke, revealed the expansion of its solar team by incorporating Solar Applications Specialist Will White to help strengthen Fluke's solar tools portfolio. White will kickstart Fluke's solar education and training initiatives in his role. As a designer, installer, and manager of residential, commercial, and utility-scale photovoltaic, wind, and solar thermal projects, White has nearly two decades of experience. The Director of Business Development at Solar Energy International (SEI) helped clients identify training opportunities for their teams as part of the organization's mission to accelerate renewable energy technologies. Previously, White worked for SEI's curriculum team, updating and developing courses and teaching online and in-person classes.
A major objective of White's new position will be to spearhead Fluke's solar education initiatives, including webinars, industry events, and other training sessions. White will be hosting Fluke 2023 Solar Safety Webinars, where he will share best practices, safety considerations for working with solar electrical equipment, and tips for choosing the right tool.
