“The biggest challenge for upstream pressure pumping companies in the oil and gas industry is the lack of proper maintenance to extend the life cycle of their equipment. With the current rise in supply chain delays, many companies are focusing more on maintenance to extend their equipment’s life span,” says Tyler Webb, President, Intervention Energy Services.
Intervention Energy Services provides preventive maintenance schedules and expert repair services that enhance equipment lifecycles and reduce the need to replace equipment. The company’s predominant services include flow line recertification and iron management programs.
As a cradle-to-grave management solution for flow line iron, their iron management program takes a huge logistical burden off of the companies, ensuring rapid response deployment of the equipment when the clients need it. For instance, if the clients face a problem on-site, clients can call Intervention Energy Services over the phone, who will deliver replacement parts from their stockpile.
Intervention Energy Services is committed to delivering a first in class service delivery model. We leverage our extensive experience and expert personnel to deliver the results that our customers expect
Contrary to their competitors who adopt straight-line billing, Intervention Energy Services’ business strategy follows an all-inclusive billing methodology that would allow the customers to avail the services of their staff in different ways rather than for very specific job functions.
In every client engagement, Intervention Energy Services tries to get a clear understanding of the client’s demands and expectations. “We define the terms of service that work for the customer at the onset and execute it through the lifecycle of our maintenance program. By following this roadmap, we arrive at a very satisfied customer,” says Webb.
For instance, a particular oilfield service company’s facility in East Texas had been mothballed for 18 months. One of their clients asked them to start another frac fleet, become job ready in 60 days, and start pumping operations.
When the service company approached Intervention Energy Services, they mobilized a team, who arrived on site and inventoried the full equipment capabilities. Based on what the client had in the yard, the team sorted and identified the equipment that was ready to use, and quarantined the rest that was out of date. They also coordinated with the operations team to build out a critical needs list to create a schedule to operational readiness.
Intervention Energy Services performed the inspection work as well as assembly of both the manifold and the high-pressure pump units. Within 60 days, they coordinated with the client’s local operations group to prepare a fully ready and mobile frac spread as requested by the client’s customer.
The success of the fleet led to the client’s expansion by starting another fleet and growing their market share in east Texas and north Louisiana region.
Intervention Energy Services’ biggest selling point is the unique combination of their superior service delivery, expert team, and technical resources. For the road ahead, the company plans to expand to the south Texas region with a brick-and-mortar service center in addition to their existing rapid response mobile units.
